In recent news, it has been confirmed that Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model will feature a transgender woman named Isis. This is something that has sparked national attention but my prediction is that it will really hit the spotlight once the season premiere airs on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 8/7c on the CW. Isis was born a male but now lives as a transgender woman.
I must admit that I wouldn't be able to tell that this was a man. It seems as though society is becoming more and more liberal and free-spirited as it relates to people's sexual preferences, orientation, body alterations, etc.
Another thing I found on the web was a Kenneth Cole ad which features a transgendered woman and her boyfriend. Take a look and tell me what you honestly think of this movement....
